Our churches first step into global missions is supporting a Bible translation project in Malawi! As we teach and preach through 1 and 2 Samuel over the next eight months, we have committed to covering the cost of translating those same Old Testament books for the Yao people of Malawi.

There are about two million plus Yawo, who have never heard of Jesus, living across three countries - Malawi, Mozambique, and Tanzania with the vast majority living in Malawi. The Mollers along with their team are focused on translation for the Malawian and Mozambican Yawo.
Located on the East side of Lake Malawi. The west side has been slightly reached by missionaries, but on the east side is a unique dialect/language requiring its own translation. The team is currently Gospel Planting - the stage prior to church planting.
Their Translation team criteria: Accuracy, Naturalness & Clarity. Exegetical review/audit with source languages. Verbal review.
